Q. What is Lal Dora Certificate ?

This certificate establishes that a person is the owner of a particular property/land in the "Abadi" area of a village ( i.e. area demarcated for habitation). This certificate is also used for the purpose of getting water/power connections in a village.
Q. Where do I have to go and during which hours?

To the office of Sub-Divisional Magistrate in whose jurisdiction you reside during 9.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on any working day.. Click Here to obtain the contact address of the SDM in whose jurisdiction in your colony lies.

1. Application form duly filed by the applicant form containing full details of land, Khasra No. and name of the owner. 
2. Affidavit stating details of land, Khasra No. name of the owner and purpose for requesting for Lal Dora Certificate. Click here for the Proforma of Lal Dora Certificate. 
3. Aksh Sizra of the land in question. 
4. Copy of Ration Card. 
5. Copy of Khatoni.

 
Q. What will be the criteria used while deciding my case?

The application is sent to Tehsildar’s office for verification and report. After the particulars are verified, the certificate is issued to the applicant.
