Care Of Mother |

|
A healthy mother will deliver a healthy baby! All pregnant women must
get themselves examined at least three times by a doctor/ trained medical
attendants. Along with examination, investigation like Hemoglobin estimation,
Blood group testing and Urine examination are mandatory. Diet and hygiene
education play an important role during pregnancy as also Iron and Folic
acid and Calcium Supplementation to meet the increased
requirement. All pregnant women must get two injections of Tetanus Toxoid,
all these facilities are available at all Govt. Dispensaries, Maternal
& child welfare centers, Maternity Homes free of cost. |
